Graduate student Katharine Stroukoff from the University of Texas-Austin explains how her research may abet build a better battery, while Mike Nawrot and Dan Lauber, members of the MIT electric vehicle team, describe the advantages of their fully electric Porsche 914. They also explain how they are in work to improve some of the hitches associated near electric vehicles, as battery life and charge time.

Well, if you don’t have a license, you can’t thrust on the road. As all for finding a relatively cheap electric motor, best bet is eBay, but do some prep on anything you look at.

I would say electric since so little of the power is lost to heat.
–Ace, diesel is actually less refined than regular gas.
