The Volt isn’t exactly arsenic the first guy described – it is e`er powered with electricity but aft 40 miles some a gas engine turns on and runs a apparatus that keeps the battery from going dead – this allows the car to go markedly more than a typical electric car suchlike Nissan’s FOLIAGE which can only do 75-80 miles before its battery desires a charge.
Pluses of the Volt are …. it’s comfortable and very quiet. Sporty handling and strong acceleration. Super high gas economy within each day driving; decent cutback on longer trips. Higher bling quotient.
Minuses are……. only seats four. Costs around $33k after tax thanks taken. Demand at this time is greater than supply.

I have noticed that the hybrid cars cost $10,000 to $12,000 more all for the same style automobile that is gasoline hopped-up. I can not insight out any information that compares the maintainence cost mi all for mile of the different types of cars. I do not qualify for the tax rebate to buy a hybrid. So am I saving money or not provided I procure one?
