Toyota’s latest pride and joy is a branch of the environment-friendly club. It is lava new-generation iQ mannequin, a petrol/electric hybrid which according to Toyota means that range is not a breakdown. (Most electric cars can single walk around 100 miles before they trot out of power.) Toyota is as well working on an electric 4×4 next to America manufacturer Tesla. A concept car presented at the Los Angeles Auto Show should be on sale in the US by 2012. But Nissan and Mitsubishi are also racing to produce crossed cars. … www.euronews.take-home

A hybrid car usually has both a gas/diesel motor and an electric motor method in unison. In some models, kinetic energy harnessed from braking is used to help charge the mobile. Within hybrid cars, both the gas/diesel motor and the electric motor play much or less equal environs in powering the vehicle.
An electric vehicle, as its name implies, is hopped-up by mainly electricity. The Tesla Roadster, for example, can roam 200 miles with a single charge. In some models, a very small efferent is also attached to payment the battery in case it runs out. In an electric car, the electric motor is the primary source of energy for the vehicle.
